Help Haitians build roof for school

Hello I'm Jean-Paul and I'm a #Haitian - #American helping #Haitians help #Haitians.
I am raising $2,000 to fund the construction of a roof for a dance center in Jacmel, Haiti.
DANCE TO SAVE LIVES was founded by Dieufel Lamisere as a way to provide children in Haiti the necessary resources to keep them off the streets. Through this organization, Lamisere provides a competitive education in traditional Folkloric and modern dance forms, a unique professional-level performance opportunity, and empowerment of Haitian identity. Lamisere is a Haitian born and bred artist who has trained in Haiti, who has performed and directed companies on a global scale.
By helping me reach this goal, you are insuring that $2,000 (or more!) will go directly to those who need assistance. Building a roof has obvious benefits....but in addition to this, you will be employing three local workers at a dignified wage.
DANCE TO SAVE LIVES is unique in that is it is a Haitian grassroots organization. This organization is one of the few that is founded by and run by a Haitian. As Haiti has struggled to rebuild after the devastating earthquake, grassroots organizations have a high qualitative value and operate within a competitively efficient financial process. All of this money will go directly to the cause and none of this money will be used to pay NGO expenses. More than 75% of these funds will be going to materials, with 22% to paying the workers a dignified wage, and 2% for the transportation of materials. Any surplus in funds will be used to provide more materials like barres and mirrors.
