My Name is Emma and
I'm raising money for Suicide Prevention Australia and The Blackdog institute,
The money will be used to raise awareness and research in to Suicide and Mental Healtth issues which need to be addressed.
Suicide affects everyone and mental health issues need more research, after losing my stepbrother Nathan and friend Jamie to suicide it something I feel strongly about. Statistcs are not getting any better and something needs to be done.
I set up this Go Fund Me as more of sponsorship for taking part, flights, Triathlon entry and accommodation are already paid for and I'm not after funds for this, money donated will be 100% donated.
I have already raised half of the $10K target i set myself by holding a Trivia night. Now, im taking part in The Hamilton Island Triathlon so as some of my friends know, although i'm a PT im not by anymeans a triathlete like Jamie was, and he was my inspiration to go out and do the extreme.
The funds raised will be split 50/50 between the two organisations.
Training so far has been hindered by injury but I will get there.

20km Cycle
5km Run
