Bill Gordon Memorial

On Saturday June 11th Bill Gordon suffered a massive heart attack and died during a ride with his friends. Bill's contribution to cycling in Central Ohio transcended his role as Event Director at Columbus Outdoor Pursuits contributing to Homeless Family Foundation, The Bike Lady, American Diabetes Association Tour de Cure and Pelotonia to just name a few.
To Honor the legacy of Bill, with the blessing of his family we are putting together a memorial in his honor at Old Stone Presbyterian Church. Team Sociale regularly rides "The Church Loop" because of the church's generously leaving a cooler full of water and allowing use of their facilities for Columbus Outdoor Pursuits events.
It is only fitting that a bench be placed with his name for cyclist to use and to remember the amazing person he was. The money raised will go toward the construction and related costs with any overage directed toward the Charities he worked so hard with.
