My Brother Laurence

As many of you know, my brother Laurence had surgery last year to remove his bladder that was infected with cancer.  Unfortunately, the cancer has returned to his spine and other parts of his body causing pain and immobility.  Obviously, this has kept him from working (2 months at this point), so keeping current with the household bills is becoming more difficult.

As you know, Laurence is a veteran and, therefore, he gets a great deal of assistance from the VA in terms of treatment and medications.  However, it will be quite some time before financial assistance starts to come his way, if he is approved to receive assitance at all.
