We thank you for your continued prayers for my daughter Lindsey Gann! She coaches a girls 14 and under, softball team that my granddaughter Hailey, 13, plays on in Topeka Kansas. Her husband Jeremy also coaches their sons team. On Thursday 6-09-16, several African American parents made racial comments and threatened to attack Lindsey, after she had confronted several children for hitting and bullying other younger kids, including hitting my granddaughter in the chest! A League official present, commended Lindsey for how well she handled the incident. All appeared resolved! Friday night, at least 1 adult female and three juveniles, viciously stalked, ambushed, and attacked her in the parking lot of the Hudson School, at Dornwood Park, as approximately 25 others cheered them on and yelled racial slurs! After the adult slammed her in her truck door, the others drug her around by the hair, and bashed her head on the truck repeatedly! Police arrived and detained several individuals. Unknown at this time if any arrests were made. Lindsey was transported to the hospital by ambulance. Jeremy was unable to help her as he was confronted by the crowd and another male! Video camera footage from the parking lot camera on the school is being sought, as is legal representation! The entire family has been traumatized! Lindsey is unable to get out of bed without help, and remains in agonizing pain! She has screws in her neck from a previous auto accident, and needs immediate medical follow-up and treatment! The family has no health insurance as Jeremy had recently started his own Electrical Contacting business! The family is afraid to remain in their home, and needs to re-locate. My daughter has always embraced every child and tried be be a good role model and mentor to them! This was in fact a hate crime! But I fear the City of Topeka may already be attempting to suppress and minimize the incident! Please help my daughter, Lindsey Gann! Her life matters to me! God Bless you! Randy Robbins

After constant pressure, the DA is recommending only misdemeanor charges against 2 women in this case! A botched investistigation, cover-up and damage control are still underway by the authorities! http://www.wibw.com/content/news/2-women-charged-for-attack-on-softball-coach-at-Dornwood-Park-385258171.html

The family would like to thank everyone for their prayers and support! We are still awaiting a decision from the District Attorney, who has expressed the desire to charge the attackers with misdemeanor battery! All parties involved still appear to be engaged in an effort to minimize and cover up this crime! Please share Lindsey's story, as we continue to pressure authorities to see that justice is served! http://americanfreepress.net/audio-interview-article-black-mob-attack-in-kansas-a-cautionary-tale-for-whites-part-1/

Thanks to everyone for your love and support! I wanted to give you an update! Lindsey is doing better physically, with the exception of the severe damage to her neck, and pain in her leg, and internal injuries! Emotionally, she continues to struggle for answers! The Softball League met in executive session on Monday! The President recommended banning all the individuals committing the attack! The league's attorney rejected, and advised against that action! A team member in attendance related that approximately 20 police officer's were present! Unsure of the exact number or nature of their presence! Manny Munoz was also present! He was the supervising officer on scene, the night of the attack! He is directly responsible for failing to initiate any investigation! At this point, the league has taken no action! Lindsey and Jeremy have advised them that they will not be returning! Also on Monday, Topeka Police Detective Iams (sp), returned a phone call to Lindsey, stating that she had concluded her investigation, and submitted the case to the prosecutor for review! Our family has always been supportive of law enforcement, but this has shaken our confidence! It seems that instead of seeking justice, officials involved have chosen to engage in risk management and cover-up! The Gann's, with the full support of family and friends, will continue to seek justice! Please keep them in your prayers!

Please use the resources that you have in your community foradditional help with this. Contact Safe Streets and see if they can help, washburn legal services, and also YWCA Center for Safety and Empowerment, and if none of those places work maybe they can point you in the right direction.
