Denyse McDonald Breast Cancer Fund
As most of you may already know our sister Denyse Jessica has been diagnosed with Stage 3A Metaplastic Breast Cancer. Denyse will be going through an aggressive chemo therapy for several months (starting at MDA) followed by surgery and radiation after all her chemo sessions.
While undergoing additonal testing at MDthey found a lump close to her under arm and a cancerous lymph node with 6 other suspicious lymph nodes that is scheduled for more testing.
Although we place our trust in God and remain optimistic we know that she will be in need of financial assistance. We started this fund to help Denyse and her 2 children ages 7 & 9 yrs old offset her large medical bills that are not covered by insurance, loss of time from work, traveling/lodging expenses and caring for her 2 young children so for those that are able help we are asking for you assistance in helping Denyse as she continues this long road to recovery. No amount is too little. Thank you in advance.
With Love, The Family

So here is the latest update as a few days ago. My sister was rushed to the ER in her hometown after having severe back pain and after testing they found cancer lesions in her liver. After long hours in the ER they decided to drive to MDA ER in Houston where she felt more confident there being that they have all her records/history there. And after all week of testing it was confirmed that her cancer did spread to her liver. They reclassified her breast cancer to a stage 4. She says she is doing well given the current situation. They will start chemo therapy again back at home and stated she will continue to work as usual.
Her words to us were " I strongly have faith that I will get through this. Through God all things are possible. I just ask that you continue to pray that I will beat this beast. I am in good spirits and I am enjoying everday God has given me. "
She had a bone scan the other day to check if the cancer had spread to her bones and spine, and we were excited to hear the great news, cancer did not spread to the bones nor to the spine. Despite of all she is going through she remains very STRONG, so again we ask you to please keep her in your prayers and thank you all in advance.
Thank you all for your calls and texts checking up on my sister and most of all THANK you for your continued prayers. Keep the prayers coming!
unfortunately After surgery MDA found a different form of cancer so another surgery will have to be done immediately. Her surgery is scheduled for this Monday (12/19) Following surgery she will undergo radiation and more chemotherapy. However She's doing good and fighting hard. Prayers, prayers and more prayers.. Thanks!!
After 7 hrs in surgery our sister is finally out of surgery and currently in recovery, Thank God. Although it turned out to be a longer surgery than planned as of now things are going well. We will have the final pathology report in a week and continue to pray and have faith that all will come out great.. Thank you all for your continued prayers
