A Cappella Academy 2017

Hello everyone!!! My name is Sophia Rosado and I am raising money to attend A Cappella Academy in LA, California! I am a senior at Centerville High School in Centerville, Ohio and I perform as an alto and mezzo-soprano in Centerville High School’s foremost contemporary a cappella group, Forte, the 2016 ICHSA National Champions. I come from a family of diverse musical background spanning rich Latin American influences, and I love R&B/Soul and Jazz.  I have also attended A Cappella Academy for the past two years and in doing so I was selected as the 2015 Ella Fitzgerald Memorial Vocalist! I spend most of my free time learning new tunes on her acoustic guitar and keyboard! :)

I am so excited to have been one of 73 participants in this year's session, chosen out of a pool of 556 total applicants (the top 13 percent) accepted into A Cappella Academy once again! I am looking forward to seeing old friends, meeting new people, and learning new things about music and a cappella! The tuition cost is roughly $1,995. I know will be an amazing and unforgetable experience and it would mean the world to go again!! Thank you so much for your contributions!!
