Nikki needs your help

As many of you already know my Nikki has become very ill. The diagnosis was Immune-mediated thrombocytopenia (IMT) is a very serious autoimmune disease in which a dog's body attacks its own blood platelets as though they are a pathogenic bacteria or virus. Thrombocytopenia is the technical word for low platelet count. When the body's platelet count is depleted, severe bruising or uncontrolled bleeding can occur. Which I still can't even wrap my head around. After many hours spent at the vet and many questions. Also discussed a lot of future medical care. We believe that although there isn't a cure treatment is the best option for Nikki, as I feel he will still have a good quality of life. I hope to see him happy and healthy again. Living his young life to the fullest. Nikki truly is apart of our family and I love my sweet Bebé with all my heart. Nikki is humanly smart as many of you know and the greatest furbaby I've ever met, even if I'm biased. He's gotten me through some of the darkest moments in my life and I want to help him get through this. He has real emotions and such a big personality and it breaks my heart that this is happening to him. I would like to ask our friends and family to help donate to help Nikki have the healthy life he deserves. Any amount would be incredibly appreciated, and once he's better (POSITIVE THINKING) we will do our best to plan doggy dates as a "Thank you" to anyone that has helped us. This can, and probably will, include lots of hugs, tears, and maybe "Thank you" drinks. The emotional support alone has been tremendous and we love and appreciate all of our friends. Thank you for caring about my Bebé as much as we do.
