PAWS of Jackson Needs Your Help
Hi! My name is Janice, and I helped found PAWS (Precious Animals Worth Saving) in Jackson, MN in late 2010. We are a non-profit, no-kill foster-based animal rescue that runs solely on donations and community fundraising. We don't have a shelter building, but we have some wonderful volunteers who take in the animals in need, some that come to us very hurt, sometimes from accidents; sometimes abused or neglected; sometimes lost and sometimes just not wanted. Each animal who is taken in by PAWS is given needed medical care, is spayed or neutered and brought up to date on vaccinations before they are adopted to new homes. We do our best to find the most appropriate home for each, based on their needs and personalities.
Our available animals range in age from kittens like Peter
to adults who have been with us for as much as four years, like Caroline. 
Caroline was completely emaciated when she first came to us with her daughter, Laura. Laura has since been adopted, but Caroline is still waiting for her forever family to find her.
We have had a number of emergency situations recently (cats severely neglected or ill), and need some help to be able to pay our vet bills. We are also in need to provide food and necessary supplies for our fosters. Since all of our animal care is volunteer-based, it's so important to have supplies to hand out when the cats and dogs go in to a foster home for care and love until they find their forever home.
We would really appreciate your help , and from myself and all of the fur kids, we deeply thank you! We will continue to work hard to raise money locally through our annual Walk for PAWS, bake sales, rummage sales and by relying on our wonderful community to donate when they can.
