Janet & Yessi Medical Expenses

This is a benefit campaign for Janet and Jessica who were struck by a vehicle May 14, 2016. Both sustained major injuries that at the time were considered life threatening. Jessica was flown to KU Medical Center due to the nature of her injuries. Janet, too unstable for transport, remained in Topeka in the Trauma Critical Care Unit of Stormont Vail Health. Both parents have been at their daughters' bedsides and since have been unable to work. A lot of unforseen expenses have accrued as a result of them being back and forth between cities and hospitals to see both girls. Jessica has been transfered to a local hospital as of this week (This was written on 6/8/16) to begin her rehabilitation. Janet has since been moved out of the Trauma CCU to an Intermediate Care Unit, with hopes to move her to Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital in Lincoln, Nebraska to begin her rehabilitation. The funds raised by this campaign will be made available to their parents to cover expenses such as food, travel, and lodging.
