Haydan's Autism Service Dog

This is our 5 year old son Haydan who is autistic. He is a wonderful little boy who struggles to cope with the world around him every day.  He has a lot of sensory issues that cause him to react in ways that often put him in danger. He is terrified of loud noises and has run across busy parking lots and towards roads to try to get away from what is scaring him.  He also is easy distracted and does not understand the concept of strangers which makes it very stressful to take him out in crowded places since he is getting too big for a stroller.  Haydan also does not sleep regularly dispite everything we have tried he gets up and wonders the house in the middle of the night. 

To try to provide Haydan with some comfort and security when we leave the house and to relieve some of our stress worrying about his safety, we are trying to get him a service dog. The dog will be trained especially for Haydan's needs and we have already gone through the process of getting him approved to receive the dog. This is where we need your help. The training that takes up to 9 months is very expensive. The deposit is $2500 and the total cost of the dog is $15900. We have saved almost $6000.
