My name is Jordan Ford. I want to share with you my story and what it is I am doing in South Korea. I was somebody who really struggled with depresion in my early and late teens. Trying to struggle for some sense of
identity. It was a lack of identity and  not having dreams that really set me down a spiral of despair.   Suicide was always a thought that plauged my mind as a option. Ever present was the temptation. It didn't mater if I was with friends or family, always behind the smile was that darkness. It was God that finally rescued me out of that despair of not knowing who I was. He gave me a dream and purpose.  One of my dreams was to reach those who struggle with depression.  Which is what brings me to South Korea. It is the number one leading country in suicide. Theres a bridge here in the city of seoul called mapo bridge. Its infamous for people coming to it to commit suicide. When I first heard of the bridge I decided thats where I need to reach out. I told my friend Chris about the Idea and asked iff he would come with me. He said yes and we decided to patrol the bridge from 11pm to 3 am on thursday nights. The very first night we went we met a young man on the bridge who planed on jumping that night.  Me and chris talked with him and asked what was wrong and just listened to him. He told us that he was sad that he couldnt pursue his dream. We asked him what his hobbies were and he said he liked pc gaming. I then suggested that how about we leave this bridge and go to a pc cafe. His face turned into a smile and he nodded yes. Because it was late at night the subways were closed so he couldnt go back home. We decided to let him stay the night with us at our place.  Chris and I kept and In contact with this youngman and become good friends with him. A few months later a korean news company wanted to do a story on this. They filmed and broadcasted this story on the morning tv show. Since just visting that one time that idea developed into a full blown ministry. Lots of young people are now patroling the bridge with me and chris during the week.  We are meeting people on the bridge and saving lives.  Currently though I'm needing funding to stay in Korea and keep doing mission work for God. Im needing Prayer , onetime donations or even recurring donations. Please keep me in your prayers and consider donating to help support this ministry.
