Democratic Convention Delegate - TN

I am a Tennessee delegate to the Democratic National Convention.  I am a supporter and pledged at-large delegate for Sen. Bernie Sanders.   I need funds to help cover convention expenses in Philadelphia.  The State of Tennessee DNC says it can go as high as $8,000 to attend.  I have not received any help from the state party.   They are supporting Hillary.   I need $2,500 in order to attend.  I will be supporting Bernie on a tight budget.  Bernie or Bust!

I am a lifelong democrat who has worked as a volunteer for youth organizations, like the Big Brothers/Big Sisters and Girl Scouts and for individuals with disabilities through the Arc Mid-South.  I have voted in every local, state and national election since I turned 18.  I have conducted voter registration drives.   I am saddened by the voter suppression that occurred this primary season.  Bernie has solutions, and our country needs help.

I am excited and grateful to have the chance to support Bernie at the Philadelphia Convention.  Many of my friends don't understand why I support Bernie because the media has not given him the attention he deserves. Bernie is for the 99 percent.  Please donate whatever you can.  I need the funds by July 18, 2016.  

I will be forever grateful to stand with Bernie and with all of you in support of a living wage, single-payer healthcare, free college tuition, protecting our climate, repairing our infrastructure, LBGTQ, civil rights and social justice for all the disenfranchised. Bernie will fight for us against Wall Street and the big banks.  He is honest!  He makes sense!  I support Bernie's platform: He can get the job done. "No one should work in the United States for 40 hours a week and live in poverty."
