Tom Welch Medical Expense Fund

On the morning of Friday, June 3rd 2016, our friend Tom Welch suffered a stroke.  The stroke occured on the left side of his brain and is inoperable due to the amount of risk associated with accessing the particluar artery. As of June 4th, Tom is in ICU under sedation and being monitored by health professionals. Today, Tom's speech and right side movement are severely limited. 

The good news is that Tom is an incredible fighter.  While doctors can't operate on the collapsed artery, there are capillaries around it that are supplying a good amount of blood to that area of the brain.  

The road ahead is unknown.  Tom will spend at least another week in ICU under observation, and then have the arduous process of recovery and rehabilitation. 

This fund is created to provide Tom and his family monetary relief for the long and expensive road ahead. From medical bills and assistance, rehabilitation supplies, to potential home modifications and other needs yet to be known.  Please consider contributing what you can to help.
