Hey there folks! My name is Ava Wilson! I'm 28 and live in Buffalo, NY and am a fan of the show Supernatural!
On March 1st of 2017 I intend to walk across the U.S. from Atlantic City, NJ to Pacifica, CA. Why? To help Random Acts' mission to "conquer the world, one random act of kindness at a time." I want to spread goodwill and kindness among people. During the whole walk I will strive to commit acts of kindness along the way no matter how small and in several places I want to do kindness events such as food drives, visiting folks in nursing homes, or a park/road clean up.
I also intend to vlog along the way and post updates up on Youtube so others can follow my journey!
The money I'm asking for is an estimate of the costs for the supplies I would need to do this as well as to be able to also feed myself along the way. Because this is a lot of money, I've also gathered my supply list and put it on Amazon so people can choose to fund me or buy things off of the wishlist as they see fit. As money gets donated and I am able to buy my gear, I will be doing so through the Amazon Smile program which gives a small percentage of the cost to your chosen charity, and have chosen The Art Department as they are the parent charity to Random Acts.

Any money left over whatsoever at the end of the trip will be donated directly to Random Acts. The same is also true if I do not raise enough money to begin my trip.
This trip has been a dream of mine for many years. Every year I try to do small trips to places, but it never seems to satisfy my wanderlust for long. I also love meeting people and helping folks even in the smallest of ways, and I feel that this trip will let me do that.
I am super stoked to start this chapter of my life and I cannot wait to take you all along!
