Coach Tom's Baseball Team to Canada

Hello, we are a Little League Baseball Team located in the Caribbean island of St. Maarten. Coach Tom Burnett's team is made of kids with challenges, some physical, some social, some language, its a mixed bag. The kids are mostly from low income homes, some single parent homes. They are boys and girls, ages 8 to 12, and they are coming to Coach Tom's player development program 6 days a week for no charge. There they practice for games, but also work on reading, writing, math, science, geography, and how to deal with anger. We try to work with them one-on-one, trying to get  them a leg up on their school work. They are desperate for the attention and we are seeing great results in all areas. 

This summer (August) we have an opportunity to take ten of our players to St. Catherines, Canada to play some freindly games with their local Little League. We will asllo show them Niagara Falls, a Blue Jays game or two, a ride on a train and some museums.

The kids have been raising $ for the trip, but we are still short. We are looking at airfare costs of $544.31 US Dollars per child.

For most of these youngsters this is the trip of a lifetime. Please help us raise funds to show them that dreams can come true if you work hard.
