Recover Survivor: Maryland Season 6

My name is Anders Norberg and I am the new and current host of Survivor: Maryland, a competition at the University of Maryland where every semester 16-20 students compete in a variety of physical, mental, and strategic challenges in an effort to become the Sole Survivor. Within the past week the external hard drive containing all of Survivor: Maryland Season 6 unfortunately suffered an accident and was unable to be accessed. After sending it in for data recovery, we received good news and bad news. The good news is that 100% of the files and footage was recovered and will be accessible. The bad news is the cost of the data recovery is $1,700.

For this process I had to put down $700 as a deposit, which means I still need to pay $1,000 to get all the footage back. I am a college student and do not have the means to pay for this. Survivor: Maryland does not make a profit, and this project is simply for the contestants and fans of Survivor and Survivor: Maryland.

I am going to GoFundMe because I want to be able to share the amazing experiences of 20 college students from UMD competing in a completely unique social experiment with people all over the world. If I am unable to reach this goal, the footage can't be given back and the season will be lost.
