Marilyn Wiles Memorial Fund

On April 15, 2016, my mother, Marilyn Wiles, was diagnosed with stage 4 Breast Cancer. She went into the doctor because her hip hurt and found out that in addition to having a fractured hip and pelvis, she has breast cancer that has spread to her hip bone and liver. She has had surgery to repair the hip but there is nothing that can be done about the pelvis. My mom worked for Pamida and then Shopko for most of her life. She is currently undergoing chemotherapy and radiation treatments at a hospital about 50 miles away. She has had long stays in this hospital due to illness and treatment (i.e: pneumonia). My father and her husband, Victor, has been disabled for a few years from his life long career as a commercial construction worker. Their income is very fixed. There have been many treatments and procedures that the insurance has covered but there are definitely things that it will not cover. My mom is a very strong and proud woman . It has been difficult to convince her that she could use some help. Our family has 3 boys and 3 beautiful grandkids. I am a disabled veteran  working as a mechanic at Harrison Truck Center.  My wife is also a disabled Veteran.  My younger brother is a single day working as a machinist for John Deere.  The youngest boy is overseas in the army on his second deployment and his wife is an employee of Target. We are doing all we can to support them but the expenses are just too great. Thank you in advance for anything you can spare.
