ADOPT A CLASSROOM - HS MATHETMATICS

Hello, I am a mathematics teacher at a very rural K-12 school district known as Vanderbilt Area School.  We have been operating in deficit for the past several years.  As a result classroom supply money for student learning has gone to $0.  Myself and other teachers have been supply necessary needs for our students to the best of our ability out of our pockets.  It has now come to a point where I can no longer afford to give my students the supplies they need to be successful on my own.  Our school has a very high poverty rate amongst students, making donations by student families not always possible.   I am in need of new textbooks for my Algebra 2 class, Presentation equipment, and a few graphing calculators.  My goal is to raise to $3,750 to do a classroom make-over, giving my students what they deserve.  Any amount will be appreciated.  This is for a public school, so any donation should be tax-deductable.  If you would rather send a check directly to the school, please do so.  The address is Vanderbilt Area School, 947 Donovan St., Vanderbilt, MI 49795.  Please note on any donations mailed to the school that they are for the HS Mathematics program.  If you could, please email me and let me know to expect it.  This will allow me to follow up with our accounting staff to make sure your money makes it where you intended it to go.
