funds for Doofie

Some of you will know me as JL from SODAHEAD, some will not. In the world of social media, you can really make some long term friends. Doofie Girl, or, Effie, is one of these people. This 78 yr. old lady is one of those special people. She is a dear heart, a patriot, and, a true American. Effie has some physical disabilities that limit her severely, but, her mind is always set on 'rapid fire', with love, respect, caring, and always a sense of humour. Thankfully, she has a son, Bruce, that can be there for her! Bruce, due to an accident, and, a head injury, has been limited to what work he has been able to find.

Effie lives in a house that was built in the 1920's, it is in bad need of some repairs and updating, These funds will be used to upgrade the electric, build easier access to get her in and out, repair some roof leaks, and other smaller items.

We have about 6 people that have volunteered to do some of the labor, and about 6 more local volunteers. We hope to get this started within 90 days.

It is with much hope, that I ask you to help this deserving lady. She is one of those great people that never ask for anything, but needs some assistance. I will forever be reminded of those that will help, and, thankful for anything you will, and, can do to help! May God bless you
