The National Hispanic Institute

Hello my name is Luis Jauregui and I am an NHI student at Augustana College. I am raising money to help fund my trips for the National Hispanic Institute this summer. I will be attending programs in Texas from June 1-17, Illinois from June 25-July 3 and July 5-11, Florida from July 12-17, and possibly Philidelphia from July 25-31. The money will solely be used to help pay for my plane tickets. The money spent during the trip will be coming out of my own pocket.  I have recently found out that my family will be unable to help me fund these trips and seeing that this is a non-profit organization I will have to come up with the money myself with very little time to earn it.  The National Hispanic Institute is the only reason I know what I want to be in life and helped me find where I wanted to go which is being a lawyer and starting my education at Augustana. This program has taught me a lot about myself and about life that I feel it is only right I give as much back as it has given me. I don't want to cancel last minute and feel like less of a man for going against my own word. People are depending on me and I do not want to let them down. Every little bit counts. No donation is too small. I will appreciate any amount donated. Please help a brother out.
