My name is Andi Keyes, and I'm entering my fourth month of hormone replacement therapy. My first few months as a proudly out transwoman have been invigorating and life-changing, but as I go through my transition, I at times still feel uncomfortable and dysphoric in my body.

At the moment, due to other medical expeneses and the cost of living, I can't afford the 3-5 sessions it takes to completely remove my facial hair. I shave my face every single morning, but no matter how close I get it, I still have beard shadow. This has proven to be a huge obstacle in being seen as a woman in the public eye, and has caused me a lot of angst.
With the money I raise, I will be able to afford these hair removal sessions, the next step in my transition from male to female. Being a girl will become a little bit easier, and I will be able to enjoy my life more freely.
