Love Laura

Laura Elizabeth was a beautiful smart young woman who loved deeply and touched the lives of everyone she came in contact with. When she was young she cultivated a love of horses and animals through riding at Pony Farm and helping with their therapeutic riding program for the mentally and physically handicapped. In college she was involved in ROTC and took courses to become a nurse. She always was looking to help others. Sadly she was aflictled by the disease of addiction that slowly and painfully took her from her family and friends. She lost her battle at the young age of 30.

The Love Laura fund is set up in her memory with the help of Touchstone Farms to continue Laura's memory.  Our hope is to raise enough funds to help Touchstone Farms in their newest endeavor directed towards bringing in and involving as many children as possible to touch their lives through horse related experiences- grounding them and giving them purpose.  Touchstone farms is a nonprofit educational and therapeutic organization which fosters a community of belonging for people of all ages abilities and background. Through this program that this fund supports we hope to provide a transformative experience through a connection with horses, community, nature, and fun to change lives and help at risk youth avoid a path to addiction and help redirect the addicted to new purpose.  Please help us spread the love that Laura had for children animals and all that touched her life and lets make a difference in this world in her honor.
