Surgery Fund for Miss Millie Grace
Donation protected

Friends have suggested I start a page to help fund nugget's TWO knee surgeries. If you're interested in helping, I am so very grateful for your support! Thank you for helping MG get back to playing fetch! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
About a year ago, nugget was out playing fetch when we heard her scream. She came dragging her back legs behind her. We were terrified. Thank goodness our neighbor is Millie's vet. Jody took a look at her and we began the process of figuring out what had happened.
At first, she only limped slightly on her left leg. Then, she fell and her limp became more pronounced. After several vet visits, scary reactions to medications, x-rays, biopsies...we decided we needed to visit a surgeon.
I was trying to save up the money for her left leg when she fell down the back stairs and obliterated her right leg. Surgery was no longer something I could put off and the cost has doubled from $3,200 to $6,400.
Millie's first surgery will be on her right tibia and knee on September 1. Recovery will be 4 long months. She's allergic to rimadyl and tramadol makes her sick, so it will be a super uncomfortable road to recovery.
From there, well determine if it's necessary to do her second knee, based on how well she tolerates the first.
Please help me heal my best buddy, my sidekick, my little furry shadow. THANK YOU.
