I need help after hospital 2 stays.

Ok, here it goes…. I hate needing to do this. I am not one that leans on people, they usually lean on me. Reason I am doing this is, over the past 12 months my health has gotten worse. I am getting better but I am at the point where I can no longer afford to pay any of my ongoing medical bills or regular bills. I have exhausted all financial resources at my disposal. I have wiped out my savings and I have also wiped out my 401k retirement to pay for my medical bills. There are still about 7 k in bills that I owe and have not paid yet, mainly due to not having the money.

I have even resorted to taking out 2 payday loans that I can’t pay back just to survive. Please help me out if you can. Granted I am lucky my employer hasn’t fired me for being sick so much.

OK, on to what lead me to this point. I have 2 major illnesses. First is Ankylosing Spondylitis, which is a disease that solidifies all the joints in my body slowly. I currently have 15 total joints in my back, neck, and shoulders, hips either fully fused solid or partially solid. I have about 95% loss of mobility in both my shoulders and 99% loss of mobility in my neck, with chin to chest deflection, meaning my chin is almost touching my chest naturally. I am in a constant state of pain. I have been dealing with this disease since 2000, because of all the different medications I have taken to try to combat this debilitating disease, it has lead me to have this.

Second is Liver Disease, all the medications I have taken over the years have taken its toll on my liver and it is failing hence being in the hospital so much. With my liver failing it has caused me to have Esophageal Varese’s. Meaning the blood vessels in the lower part of my throat can and will rupture at any time. I have had in the past 9 months 2 complete blood transfusions, and now I am going about once a month to get an EGD procedure done to band any potential vessels that might rupture before they do. I know my outlook seems bleak at times but I keep striving to live not just survive, that’s why I need your help. I am not looking for more than I need to just get back on my feet so I am not worrying about where I am going to get the money to pay my rent or car.
