Please help fund an incredible opportunity to get real, hands-on political campaign experience.
My name is Dylan Workman; I am a young political activist from Sioux Falls. I am looking to build a career in politics so I can influence our country for the better -starting right here in South Dakota-. I attended the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia this past month and despite the fact that my candidate didn't win, I know it's important to continue working in order to build change from the ground up. This is why I decided to join on with Paul Schipper's House of Representatives campaign through the YELL program set up by our state party. YELL (Young Elected Legislative Leaders) is a program through which I can do what I love (working on campaigns) while still keeping myself financially afloat. If our campaign can raise $1,500 through Go Fund Me, it will be matched by the Majority Project in order to supply a salary through the end of the election. In our legislative district I coordinate volunteers, handle voter databases, contact voters, help fundraise, and work with the campaign team to help develop our overall strategy. I believe more young people should be involved in the political process, and through YELL I hope to prove that it is attainable. Any donations are very much appreciated. By helping us out you are allowing me to gain experience in my career of choice, and allowing me to push on to create a better future for our nation.
