Brickfields firework fund.

For as long as I can remember the anual Brickfields firework event was one of the most looked forward to events of the year in our community. A free event that really benefitted the children in our community as most displays in this area are costly and unaffordable for large families.
I was shocked to discover last year that the event had been cancelled due to lack of funding so I set up a Facebook group 'Bring back Brickfields firework event' which quickly generated over 1,200 members which just shows how popular the event was. From then I arranged a meeting asking for people's help to get this event back and we have now formed a small, dedicated committee of people that are willing to give up their time to help organise and raise funds to bring the event back. We need to raise £3,000 to cover the fireworks, food outlets and entertainment and would be very greatful for any donation no matter how small. If everyone on the Facebook page donated £1 we would be almost halfway to target! The event will be held on Thursday 3rd of November. Please help us make this possible!
