United People 4 Mustangs™

Hello my name is Lori I'm from the Navajo Nation and I'd like to explain to you why I'd like to raise money and awareness about mustangs. First I'd like to state that this is not just about money. If you'd like to donate supplies that's just as greatly appreciated as the money needed for this venture. Actually supplies are very much needed! We need anything you could think of to build stables and maintain the horses. We will need tools, wood, nails, saws, drills, bits, toolbelts, hammers, sheets of plywood, anything that you could think of that would aid in building stables. The horses need hay,  saddles,  brushes, and blankets. We are also willing to take horses if you no longer have the means necessary to take care of your horse we would gladly take them. This is going to become a sanctuary. We just need help getting everything started. However, money is needed for the truck that was donated to help get all supplies necessary transported back and forth. Normally you cannot get within 20 feet of these beautiful creatures but last night two of them came up to eat my shrubs just about 10 feet away from me it was amazing. That's how desperately they need food and shelter. There have been over 37 killings since December and I'm positive that number has risen. People are locking up foals and their mothers and slaughtering them. I've saw cruel horrible pictures that were just downright inhumane. These creatures have roamed these lands for centuries and have not caused any harm. They haven't thrown off any ecological balances. Industries are trying to make room for meat factories so they want to kill these free roaming mustangs. These same industries taint the meat most people eat. They also pollute the areas and animals surrounding them. That's what throws off ecological balance not mustangs. My friend and Lakota Akichita(warrior) Eddie P Blackcloud is helping me when he can. He is a water protector from Standing Rock. He'll be traveling many miles back and forth to help with maintaining the horses and stables. I'm very grateful to have his support and the support of any people who want to help by being involved with such a great cause. Trust me very soon we won't have any horses left we'll just have meat factories. Thank you for your time and any efforts you make on this journey. Only together can we do this.
