Dak is an outgoing, athletic, fun loving 11 year old boy who lives life to the fullest.
On 5/17/16 after receiving blood work results, it was learned that Dak's white cell count was abnormally high and he was admitted to the local children's hospital for further testing.
On 5/18/16, Dak, his mother, and father were presented with the terrifying news that Dak has cancer. Dak has been diagnosed with B Cell Leukemia which requires a 3 year treatment plan with aggressive treatment.
I have known Dak for the past 5 years and he is a kid who is always full of love and laughter. The money raised will assist Dak's family with hospital bills and the costs that accrue with his parents taking time off of work to be with him.
I know Dak and his family will appreciate the love, prayers, and any financial assistance to help them through this difficult time.
