My name is Steve Lealos and I am the father to Shawn Lealos, father-in-law to Johanna Lealos and Grandpa to Ash Lealos. I have been given permission by my son Shawn to enlist the help of "GoFundMe" to help in a serious accident that has hit this small family.
Johanna was in a very seriouse auto accident on May 15th, 2016. She was traveling to a funeral of a dear friend's mother at the time of the accident. She is in very serious but not life threating condition in a San Antonio hospital and will be for some time.
She had a collapsed lung, a torn artery in her left arm, both ankles shattered and part of one foot torn off. She was in the operating room for over eight hours on Sunday and will be going in again today or tomorrow.
She will be confined to a wheelchair for quite some time as she heals and tries to use her ankles and feet again.
She will be in the hospital for at least two weeks and than will require many more stays as she receives more operations and therapy.
Shawn, Johanna and Ash will need all your prayers and help they can get. The medical costs, loss of work, and simple everyday things will need to have assistance not only with money, but also with temporal, spiritual, physical and mental support.
The funds raised will go towards the medical bills first and than towards the needs of this family.
