Please help me raise the needed funds for my dads cancer surgery.  He has insurance, but the type of cancer he has requires a heated chemotherapy to bathe the abdominal cavity for 60-90 minutes and that isn't covered by insurance.  Without the chemotherapy the estimate for survival is pretty low.  He found one of the top 5 surgeons in the US that has done over 1,000 of these exact surgeries - Dr Barone, from Sharps Medical in San Diego.  If you are interested in how this procedure is done and the type of cancer treatment- here is the Doctors link:   http://www.westcoasthipec.com/surgery_chemo.html


In addition, he will need to have a follow up of immune system rebuilding.  I have been taking care of the insurance co-payments and the extra blood building foods to make the operation more successful, but I am asking for help with the cost of the procedure that the insurance does not cover.


My dad is the most caring man I have ever met.  He has spent much of his life giving to others.
