Hello, I am the Head tennis coach at Ashford Lawn tennis club and I am supporting the club's chosen charity for this year the Woking and Sam Beare Hospice. The way in which I am raising the money for this great hospice is by playing 24 consecutive hours of tennis. This is a little bit about the charity...
The Woking and Sam Beare Hospice is a patient led charity that cares for over 1,400 patients and their carers and families each year. The hospice specialises in delivering holistic care for patients with progressive advanced conditions that are life limiting. The hospice’s care is delivered in the community in patient homes, in care or nursing homes or through its in-patient ward in the hospice.
The 24 hour tennis marathon will take place on July 21st, 2:00 pm start. There will be a sign-up sheet in the clubhouse, please come to sign up, play, watch and donate what you can. You do not need to be a member to join, just let me know if you are interested. We are located in Ashford, Surrey.
