Caring for Carey's Family
Carey Bowman came to us through the Autism Society of NC. He is the first friend Tyler has ever had and my source of strength. The inroads that we have made as a family, are nothing short of a miracle through Carey's knowledge, guidance and love. And most importantly, he truly BELIEVES in Tyler.
But Carey, our very own angel from God himself, is fighting his own battle... terminal cancer. He's only 27 years old, and has two beautiful young boys (one with autism) and an extraordinary wife Patty Jo, who is holding steadfast in hope, love and making memories for their family.
Carey, having done two Air Force tours in Afghanistan, is a fighter, and shares his wit, selfless love, dedication and charming smile to everyone he meets. He is that guy who walks into a room, who everyone wants to get to know. Can you imagine how humbled we are that Carey chooses to spend his precious time with our family?
He and his family need funding for past bills while undergoing 18 months of chemotherapy, as well as alternative medicine options, healthy foods and limitless opportunities to make memories for his sweet boys.
This is everyone's chance to be a part of the pay it forward legacy that Carey brings to the world each and every day. Let's do this with the same spirit vitality, commitment and love... Money should never be a roadblock to seeking ways to beat this cancer and seeing the world through your children's eyes for every adventure possible.
May God bless our Carey Bowman.
Give hope. Give love. Give generously. It will be a random act of kindness that will exponentially grow from Tyler to Carey and beyond.
However, the needs of his sweet family still abound as they begin the healing process and put the pieces of their life together in a new "normal".
Please continue to give and spread the word so Patty Jo, Eli and Carver can get out from under the financial burden of the past year, and support their rebuilding as Patty Jo embarks on her new journey of going back school.
Blessings and gratitude to all,
Seriously, scan weeks are awful, so PLEASE let's lift his spirit with a little (or alot) of cash to fund every option he chooses to discover.
