Olympic Shane Sheehan Scholorship

Donation protected
IT IS 2018 and the time for helping fund Shane's scholarship is here. We did so well last year that our new goal is only $850.  Anything above that will go towards 2019.  Shane's art work and this scholarship  are a way of keeping Shane alive in our memories. His art and the influence it had via the changes he made as a result of Olympic High School are particularly impactful this year.  Thank you for all your support through the years.

Shane Alan Sheehan died on March 21, 2002 in a tragic motorcycle accident. He was a student at Olympic High School, had graduated early and was on his way to success as a gifted artist. Olympic High School an alternative high school in Concord, Ca gave Shane the chance to succeed. His murals he painted are an inspiration to other students and used as part of the high school tour for new students. After Shane's death  family, friends, the motorcycle community and his Starbucks  community joined together and raised $14,000 for a scholarship in his honor at Olympic HS.  Every year for the past  15 years $1000.00 was given as a scholarship to another graduating student who exemplified his creativity, drive to succeed, kind and gentle nature. Please join us in funding this scholarship in his honor for another deserving student. If it were not for the creative minds and the alternative schools that foster them society would suffer a great loss. Funds need to be raised by June 1,2017 so lets get started!
