Play equipment for Autistic school

£2,177 of £15,000 goal

Raised by 35 people in 38 months
Children with autism at a special centre at a Bath primary school have been told they cannot use their outdoor play equipment as it is not safe.

The children, aged four to 11, attend the Margaret Coates Centre at Saint Martin's Garden primary school in Odd down, but now they have nothing to play with outdoors and the school cannot afford to replace the equipment.

The primary school's insurance company told them the play equipment is rotting, it is no longer safe to be used, and has to be removed.

There are 21 children who get special help by dedicated teachers at the Margaret Coates centre, which is run separately from the school, and it has been recognised as a centre of excellence for young people with autism.

£15000 is needed to replace the equipment.

If you can help in any way, please do :)
