"Update on our Emma Beth:
Our girl is happy and doing fabulous. God has shown us such amazing things walking this journey. Were truly blessed by God.
We will be doing treatment tomorrow instead of Thursday because Emma has her MRI in the morning. Again please be in prayer with our family believing and claiming nothing is there.
Next week our appointment will be on Friday because Emma has to be put to sleep again for a hearing test (just because one of the medicine's can effect her hearing)
Thank you all so much!
On a side note: please continue to pray for Hadlee and please add Noah to your prayers please.
Behold the power of prayer. You ask God for help, and bam! You lift your concerns to heaven and turbulence happens!"
Update on our Emma Beth:
As most of you know that we had a scare late Friday evening when Emma spiked a high fever and had to be rushed to Mclanes in Temple. Just for precautions, and because her heart rate was so high they care flighted her to Children's Medical Center of Dallas. Emma's blood counts were at 0 (which is expected with the treatments she had gotten a week prior) Emma was just trying to fight a cold/cough and for her with her counts at 0 her body was not able to fight quick enough which made her spike the fever.
It was hard and scary seeing my baby like that and it was terrifying hearing that my baby would have to be to flown. I was wondering how on earth I would be able to fly when I was deathly scared and I get sick easy. But it was not about me, but what Emma needed. I began to pray instead of worry and once again God showed me that he is in control of this storm. They told us that we would be in the hospital for 7 nights but again Jesus had a different plan and three days later we are home. Thank you all for the prayers.
We are home until Thursday, when we go back for a cognitive evaluation (which they will do every three months) and just a check up, no treatments will be administered.
Hope the best
Keeping y'all in our prayers. Go Team Emma Beth!
