Our names are Clare and Nic and we want our beautiful friends to know that we have their back and they can beat this, let's help make this journey just a bump in the road for them.
No family deserves this but few deserve it less than the Maher family. This is the family that volunteers their time to help people and communities all the time. For those with children at the same school as their kids, think of them next time your child is playing on the kindy playground that Terry laboured on in his own time, or the machinery he donated to help create our amazing nature playground.
Despite regular testing for prostate cancer, recently Terry's last test has showed high PSA levels and a very aggressive form of prostate cancer. After this diagnosis it seems to have been more bad news every few days for this amazing family. Tests have shown the cancer is in at least one of Terry's lymph nodes and a second scan is being done in the following days to determine if it has spread to another node which may cancel out the option of surgery for the Maher family. If this worse case scenario occurs finances for this amazing family will be very strained . If you can donate to ease their burden it is very appreciated, if not the offering a kind word or a prayer will be helpful during this time.
Being self-employed will obviously make this time tougher than it already will be for Terry and Nic and their 2 gorgeous kids so lets do what we can to help them. These two are soul mates and Terry will fight this and be around for many, many more years with his beautiful family x
