Our father, husband, brother, and Grandpa, Daniel has sustained life threatening injuries to his spinal cord, neck, lungs, heart, and several bones throughout his body. He was life flighted to Providence on May 7, 2016. He will require many surgeries and several months of rehabilitation to improve his quality of life. By the grace of God, we pray everyday that Daniel will one day walk again and recover from this traumatic injury to his entire body. As Daniel is the main support of our mother, April Diselrod, we appreciate any assistance in helping her through this. In hopes that she may focus on helping Daniel through this long process of recovery. Support may also be sent to his daughter, Angela Lund at 1275 Gail Drive Wasilla, AK 99654. Thank you so much for any help that you can give, and no amount of donation, money, or prayers will be taken for granted.
Thank you on the behalf of our family.

Daniel returned home April 20, 2017 after 11 months of being in the hospital. We are very happy to have him home and are eager to work on getting him back to enjoying the outdoors of Alaska. We have found a company called Alaska Trackchair LLC, that offers Daniel the chance to get outside to enjoy what he most loved with a Trackchair. We are working on raising the funds to purchase this for him. Any donation will go directly to this purpose. I'm also holding a spaghetti feed/auction here in Alaska on May 20 for those who can attend. This is mainly for those who are unable to attend and family members that are out of state that want to contribute to our cause. I want to thank everyone for your prayers and support as our family appreciates each and everyone of you through this difficult time. We are very happy to have him back!!

Hi everyone I'm writing you all to give an update on Daniel, he is still battling a terrible bed sore that has hindered him from being transported to Craig Hospital in Denver. He is not happy about this as he just wants to get on with his life and come back to be with his family. The doctors are saying at least a couple months for this bed sore to heal. We are all praying for a fast recovery. Daniel wants everyone to know how thankful and greatful he is for all your contributions, thoughts and prayers.

Good afternoon, I'm posting to give an update on Daniel. He is still at St.Elias here in Anchorage awaiting transport to Craig Hospital in Colorado. There is where he will receive more specialized physical therapy and occupational therapy. Daniel is breathing on his own, and is able to eat real foods. He is very excited about this as he has been missing his favorite food the cheeseburger:) I want to continue to thank everyone for your thoughts, prayers and contributions. I hope you a great rest of your day!!!

Well after a few weeks of set backs, Daniel has come through like a champ!!! Today he was moved to St. Elias in Anchorage. At St. Elias he will receive rehab in hopes to remove him from the ventilator and maybe eventually have the trac taken out. He will also receive more specialized PT and OT services. This is a huge step forward considering all the set backs the last couple weeks. His hopes are high and he is working very hard. Our family would like to thank all of you for your thoughts, prayers and contributions.
