Help Harley Heal

My name is Malana Monson and I am trying to raise money to help our SPCA pup Harley achieve medical care to help heal a pretty serious broken leg.  All funds will go to the cost of removing the leg as all previous treatments have not been successful in repairing the bones.  He has been in a cast for over 5 weeks and the bones have not mended at all.  He is two years old and the love of my sons life as well as my husband and I.  Other than the damage to his leg he is a healthy dog, rambunctious and full of love and life.  He has been able to get around quite well with only the use of three legs so we feel he will still have a great quality of life following the surgery.

If we can't raise the funds we will have no choice but to put him down and that would devastate all of us.  Harley was adopted to help my son recover from a trauma.  He suffers from night terrors and PTSD at only 8 years of age.  Harley has made him feel safe each and every night as he cuddles up to him and protects him, not allowing anyone to enter his room without alerting the whole house.  He truly is Joey's best friend.

We obviously need the funds right away and are trying to raise them in the next 5 days so that he can have his surgery next week to reduce the chance of additional infection and to eliminate the pain that Harley is going through.

Achieving our goal of raising the $2,200 necessary for the surgical procedure and aftercare will literally be a life safer, not just for Harley but for my son as well.
