Immunotherapy Treatment for Robbie

My name is Nuala and my 47 yr old husband of three years has been diagnosed with a Grade 4 Glioblastoma Brain Tumour.  Last summer our lives changed forever when Robbie took his first seizure on the 5th July at 6am in the morning when the children came to waken him . What was to follow were mixed messages & diagnosis, many scans and Dr's appointments and finally in early September having gone privately to the Ulster Clinic we were referred to Dr Flannery to discover that our now diagnosed low grade brain tumour was in fact growing agressively and we found ourselves preparing for surgery on the 11th September.
Six weeks later life returned to normal with Chemo and Radium treatment, mixed with school runs and childrens parties !  However this January I started to notice some changes in Robbies demeanour and following a further scan we were told the tumour was back and this time covering a larger area of the brain. Surgery is highly unlikely and so my quest for Immunotherapy treatment began following an article in The Sun newspaper by Nicki Waterman, diagnosed with an inoperable and agressive brain tumour and now in remission following revolutionary new immunotherapy treatment.
We met Dr Mulholland, McMillan Centre, University College Hospital, London on the 11th April and we have been told that NHS / Clinical trials are not an option we need to self fund. Each treatment attempt will cost approx £30,000 and we can have up to four treatments. This is our last option to beat the tumours growth, we need to act quickly to take advantage of this life-saving treatment. All your donations will mean a chance for a future for us as a family.
