Cliff Bennett Fundraiser
The Bennett Family
Cliff has been making steady progress since his stroke on October 20th, 2015. He is getting use to the walker and he and I are allowed to walk together without a wheelchair. For the most part he has been cheerful and up beat. Many people in Grants Pass, Brookings, and the Pacific Northwest have been very supportive with prayers and emotional support. The inspiration that people have given us has helped us to deal with this life changing situation. We are soo grateful for all the contributions that have come to us and our future is getting strong and more hopeful. Many days have been difficult and very challenging but because of the outpour of concern and love we have been able to make our way through. We also need to thank our family members, neighbors ( old and new), for their love, hope and encouragement. Cliff means so much to so many people and his spirit has been strong. Everyone will be very proud of him and he will show you that he can make it.
Much love and many thank you's,
Roxanne Bennett, Cliff's wife.
So very Happy to hear that! Your family are some of my VERY FAVORITE people! Love and Hugs to all of you!
Great news on the progress. I was up to Grants pass with granddaughter, last week. I have not been up for a year. I walked by the Napa store and explained to grand daughter that was where the Nursery was. I so miss my visit to the store and of course Grants Pass too. I still have my garden club friends i visit. I went to the October meeting. All the members caught me up on Clif
Thanks for the update, Katie. Looks like he is really trying hard. That would be him. Please give both of them my love..
This is awesome. I enjoyed seeing the photo of Cliff, even though he is sitting in a wheelchair, he looks like he is there just temporarily. All of us who know and love him know he will continue to work hard to be best version of himself and will never stop his recovery process. We are so grateful for your updates. Thanks so much Katie and Travis!
We are so happy to know how well Cliff is doing. I told him we are praying that he gets back to the nursery full time. I know he can do it. Lonnie and Belinda
Aww, Katie, he's looking good. So glad to see that. Going home probably helped! I hope Roxanne has help. I'm sure this has been at least as hard on her as on him. Thanks for the updates.
Katie, Wayne passed away yesterday. He loved Cliff. Please share with Cliff when you feel he is ready. Love to you guys.
Cant afford to donste personally. Last year was my medical year of over $20k out of pocket/out of network bills mainly to st Vincent hospital due yo new high deductible hcp at hubbys employer. You are all in my prayers.
This put a smile on my face. Thanks for keeping us in the loop.
He is blessed to have you in his life!
So happy to hear more about Cliffs progress. Im living in California now. But the 8 years I was in Grants Pass I was treated well at the nursery. Cliff was the go to guy for the Grants Pass garden fanatics. he was always committed to community things. He gave support to The Kids Garden Project at Fruitdale Elementary School. I was createor and supervisor of that project for almost 5 years. Cliff was always there for me.
Thank you for the update, Katie! I will share news of Cliff's progress!
Thanks so much for the update! Rock on Cliff! He must know that I promised him his precious Coors if he can make it across the room!
