Hello All,
We would like to take a minute to talk about an incident that happened recently with one of our riders.

On Friday, February 8th at approximately 12:30 one of our riders, Dustin, was doored and then ran over by a truck while riding his bike in Wicker Park. Dustin broke 23 out of 24 of his ribs, his pelvis, broke his shoulder blade and fractured the bottom of his skull. He is currently in Surgery ICU at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in downtown Chicago. From what we know so far this happened around the 1400 block of Milwaukee Ave, at Wood street. The doctors have been saying if he hadn't been in such good shape, he wouldn't have made it. They also said that the helmet he was wearing saved his life.  His mother bought a plane ticket to fly in the next day from California, and his father drove 14 hours from Vermont. We appreciate any and all help that you may offer. Every cent counts to help Dustin and his family pay for these expensive bills.

Thanks everyone
