Anyone who knows me knows that my love and knowledge of flowers has been a lifelong part of who I am. Add to that my creative nature and my fearless nature when it comes to an adventure.
I have been arranging flowers for church, weddings and funerals as a hobby for over half my life. It has been more than my hobby, it has been my passion. In 2012 I began making a serious effort to focus on making this passion my work, sharing my creativity and love of flowers with an even larger audience. Filing necessary paperwork to register myself as a business The Enchanted Florist became a reality.
In such a short time I have done very well in business and have outgrown the use of the storage spaces, dining room and kitchen at home. Just as I was wondering what to do I was told of a retail space in Albany's wonderful downtown. As the space becomes a reality and the door of retail business opens to me I find myself at an exciting (and terrifying) time. The opportunity is too great to pass up!
My business model is unconventional and my needs are too small for financing from a bank. My initial start-up needs, however, exceed my own capital, thus bringing me to the wonderful world of gofundme.

The capital raised through this page will help to establish the retail presence: Permits, Signage, Shelving and Refrigeration, Miscellaneous Supplies, etc.
