2019 O&P Practicum

Please help me as I travel and serve others in great need.
This year my working travels, as I further my Orthotic & Prosthetic education, will allow me to expand my skills and knowledge to work in a multi-faceted field that explores and combines art, medicine, science, and people skills while serving people in great need.
This summer I will be traveling to Ecuador and Idaho to work under experienced practitioners helping people that in some cases do not have access to Orthotic & Prosthetic care. Without volunteer resources, many people would not be able to receive the kind of care I will be helping to provide. A lack of access to proper prosthetic care after amputation, is what leaves people in need. Currently, I am working on my masters in O&P with the goal of becoming a practitioner in the field, to help those that need care.
My goal is fundraise 10,000$ for my travel and living expenses, as well as funds to go directly to supporting ROMP.
While in Ecuador, I will be working with the non-profit Range of Motion Project (ROMP) to fulfill their mission of returning mobility to those who have experienced an amputation.
Please visit the ROMP website http://www.rompglobal.org/volunteer-programs/ for more details.
Thank you for your support!
