2019 Northwest Passage SUP Expedition
I am fundraising for the next Standup Paddle Project. In 2017, I paddled the Race To Alaska. It went extremely well. Toward the end of that paddle, before I finished...the idea for what my next project is came to me. So, this summer...2019...I will paddle through the Northwest Passage on a Standup Paddleboard. There is a documentary film about the effort. Have a look at the trailer above. The funds I raise will be used to buy gear and cover travel expenses. This project is associated with Project Ocean Watch, a two year science expedition seeking to raise awareness of Climate Change. The fact that I believe a single-season transit of the NWP by Standup Paddleboard is possible is due, in large part, to Climate Change. Joe Bark is shaping the board I will paddle as I write this. THANK YOU in advance for your support for this project. Each and every one of you will get a HUGE shout-out on social media and a big hug from me!!
THANK YOU to all of the generous donations to this project!!! During my R2AK paddle, on numerous occasions, it really helped to think of all of the support back home. It always gave me a little extra boost of courage. I am certain this trip will be the same.
