Funds Are Needed For The National Championship
The Coral Academy of Science Middle School MathLeague team is self-funded.  Each student's family has already paid nearly all of their monthly contests costs, plus contest and travel costs to compete at the recent Nevada State Elementary School Math Championship in Las Vegas.  We now need help paying the costs to compete at the upcoming MathLeague National Elementary School Math Championship at Texas A&M in College Station on Saturday, June 15, 2019.

It is estimated that the team needs around $6,000 to cover costs to compete at the MathLeague National Elementary School Math Championship.  Specifically, it is estimated that each student and their parents will need about $1,500 to cover airfare, ground transportation, lodging, and meals.

Funds are needed by the end of May.  The MathLeague National Elementary School Math Championship is scheduled on Saturday, June 15, 2019.  That is less than one month away, most funding is needed earlier to cover airfare and lodging.

This GoFundMe is organized by Matthew Weaver, volunteer MathLeague team coach at Coral Academy of Science Middle School.  Matthew is also director of Art of Doing Math (https://www.artofdoingmath.org ), which is the official host of MathLeague's monthly elementary, middle, and high school math contests in the greater Reno, Sparks, and Lake Tahoe area of northern Nevada.

Thank you for helping our four math competitors compete at the MathLeague National Elementary School Math Championship.

Very Respectfully,
Matthew Weaver
