2019 Km for 2019

Hi guys!

As of 01/01/2019, one of my good friends Chris has set himself a personal target of running 2019 Km in 2019. That's just under 48 marathons or 5.5 Km a day, a mammoth task for any amateur runner! When he informed me of his aim I thought it would be a great opportunity to help a good cause. Chris looks to reach this goal as quickly as possible, raising awareness on behalf of the MS Society at the same time. If you are interested, his progress can be tracked on Twitter, where regular posts will show his runs and total numbers. This can be found @2019kmfor2019.

As for myself, my name is John. For those of you who know me personally, you will also know that this charity holds a very special place in my heart. I am currently an active volunteer for the MS Society and sufferer of the disease for over 10 years now. The journey so far has not been simple, to say the least. It is thanks to the incredible support of the MS Society and family/friends, such as Chris, who have made the process as easy as possible. I will be aiming to support Chris throughout 2019 in any way I can, ensuring he smashes this goal, raising as much money as possible for the MS Society.

As technology continues to advance I have no doubts that one day we will find a cure and improve the lives of so many individuals suffering from Multiple Sclerosis. However, in the meantime, any support you can offer this charity would be greatly appreciated by myself and Chris. The donations would help to fund vital research, support sufferers, support their families and help across a number of other areas.

More information about Multiple Sclerosis Society: More than 100,000 people in the UK have MS. The MS Society is here for every one of them, through the highs, lows and everything in between. There is no cure, but we offer hope for the future by investing millions in research and help for today through our information, support, and campaigning. Together we are strong enough to stop MS.

Want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money for Multiple Sclerosis Society, and any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
