2018 Maplewood Porchfest

The 2nd annual Maplewood Porchfest, held on Labor Day Sunday (rain date Monday) from 1-5pm, is a free community event featuring live music and entertainment on porches throughout the Hilton neighborhood of Maplewood, NJ.

We are proud that we are free and commercial free and want to keep it that way.  We are privileged to have the support of Maplewood Community Music as well as the Hilton Neighborhood Association, two wonderful local organizations, that cover our insurance and printing expenses. We also have dedicated volunteers including our small administrative committee, the generous Hilton neighborhood porch owners, and of course our talented bands/performers. But we do have a few small expenses. 

We would like a few things on a short wish list including...
* a web site (for easy access to our digital map and schedule)
* the jitney service running on Rutgers St./Field Rd. between Hilton Ave. and Porter Rd. (our mayor and neighbor Vic DeLuca pitched in half btw...)
* lawn signs for our porches and supporters

If you are able, please give. If you donate $25 to the event by July 20, we'll lend you a lawn sign for spreading the word as well as thank you personally on a Facebook post and the event map.
