Fundraiser for Portales Rec Center

Leadership Portales is a cohort of local leaders working together to positively impact the lives of the citizens of Portales through a cooperative project. Through strong community partnerships, the group works together to improve relationships and resources within Roosevelt County and the city of Portales.
2017 Leadership Portales is raising money for the Portales Recreation Center, which serves an average of 70 kids after school every day and many more during their summer programs. Our funding goal is to raise a minimum of $3500, which will go toward buying a commercial popcorn machine, 14” tricycle, wireless projector, and speakers. These items would be beneficial for the children of Portales for years and will be used for their programs and during other Recreation Center events which are open to all children. Some of the other events the Recreation Center hosts include movie nights, dances, and Family Nights. We will be ending our fundraiser during a Family Night on April 27th from 7:30 to 10:00 pm. We invite everyone who has donated to the event for a night of fun and games and will also take donations at the door! Bring your kids to this event and have fun as a family!
