2017 Louisiana Queer Conference
The Louisiana Queer Conference (LAQC) is an annual event presented by Spectrum and Qroma, Louisiana State University’s LGBTQ student organizations. The conference was started in 2011, and has become the largest student-run conference in the South. The Louisiana Queer Conference (LAQC) provides leadership development, networking opportunities, and social support to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) college students and their allies in Louisiana.
Every spring, over 300 students, community members, and activists from across the state of Louisiana join to network, educate, build leadership skills, and demonstrate their dedication to equality efforts for the community. The conference provides an annual venue for individuals to discuss ideas and collaborate on projects, while building a statewide network to advance the LGBTQ movement.
The 2017 conference will be held in April. We look forward to a great experience this year, with better learning opportunities and more discussions, but we need your help to make it happen!
Please help us raise the funds to provide attendees with an amazing conference experience. Money will be put towards lunch, a venue, a keynote speaker, promotional materials, and advertising.
